Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the most recent diet,
weight gain and physical activity recommendations for pregnant
women. A food grouping system is used to outline the number
of servings of each food group needed to maintain mom’s health
and support the growth of her baby. Sections on how to handle
common issues such as nausea, constipation, heartburn and lactose
intolerance are included. Common questions about rate of weight
